The Squiggle Kids Parent Portal includes 9 videos and 8 infographics and other resources about drawing for parents of young children. The portal resources include information about the importance of drawing, the development of drawing in children, tools, handedness and grip as well as practical ideas for parents on topics such as how to sort and store children’s creations and finding time in a busy family schedule for drawing. A range of simple and playful drawing ideas are showcased in the videos, giving them the potential to be viewed by adult and child together.

About the Parent Portal – Single Practitioner Access
The Squiggle Kids Parent Portal includes 9 videos and 8 infographics and other resources about drawing for parents of young children. The portal resources include information about the importance of drawing, the development of drawing in children, tools, handedness and grip as well as practical ideas for parents on topics such as how to sort and store children’s creations and finding time in a busy family schedule for drawing. Simple and playful drawing ideas are showcased in the videos, making the videos great viewing for adult and child together.
Single practitioner access gives individual practitioners the ability to share portal resources with client families in printed or electronic form. Practitioners can also use the resources in the classroom or therapy room.
Early childhood practice groups should select the Squiggle Kids Parent Portal – Practice Group Access option. This allows for sharing between practitioners in the group and all clients of all practitioners in the group.

You can send the password to the Parent Portal to client families for electronic access, share individual videos or download and share or print the infographics and other resources. You can use the Parent Portal resources in the classroom or therapy room too!
If you are part of a practice group and want to share the Parent Portal and its resources with clients or other practitioners in the group, select the Squiggle Kids Parent Portal – Practice Group Access.
Period of access
Access to the Parent Portal will be available to you and your client families using the password provided by Squiggle Kids until 31 December 2025.
After this time please contact Squiggle Kids for options to renew.
